Root & Sail is an integrative mental health practice offering whole-person psychiatric care for all ages—with or without medication. We blend evidence-based treatment with nervous system support, nutrition, lifestyle, and other holistic approaches so healing feels steady and real.

Here, you are more than a diagnosis. You are a person with a story, relationships, and needs that deserve time and care. Together, we slow down, listen deeply, and co-create a plan that fits your life. Each visit is a step toward rooting more deeply in yourself and feeling safe enough to explore the world beyond.

Jacqueline Partee, DNP, CRNP, PMHNP-BC

Founder & Clinical Director, Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Jacqueline Partee is the founder and clinical director of Root & Sail Integrative Mental Health. As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice, she brings both clinical expertise and a lived understanding of the gaps within the U.S. mental health system.

After witnessing how conventional models often reduce people to diagnoses, prioritize productivity over presence, and overlook the broader roots of distress, Jacqueline created Root & Sail as a direct response. Offering space for reconnection with self, body, and deeper meaning, her work reclaims mental health care from systems that pathologize and fragment. Root & Sail instead centering care that is grounded in belonging.

At Root & Sail, Jacqueline leads clinical care, organizational design, and strategic vision. Her approach combines evidence-based psychiatric treatment with multidimensional practices that honor each person's complexity. She is focused on restoring what is often missing in traditional care: time, curiosity, and support rooted in a systems-based understanding of health.

Offering a space where healing unfolds through connection and context, her care delivery centers on meeting each person where they are, honoring their pace, and walking alongside them as they reclaim their wholeness. Jacqueline is committed to building a practice where healing is not transactional but transformative, and longs to serve in a space where people feel safe, supported, and seen in the fullness of who they are.
